Odgers Interim Consulting - 1st year celebration

Last night Odgers Interim Consulting celebrated its 1st year in business with a reception for over 50 Independent Consultants in our network.  Aside from an opportunity to get together and meet fellow professionals, we enjoyed a wonderful selection of food and wine and an intriguing talk by Lou Rudd.  Lou, a career soldier in the British Army, is leading a team of British Army reservists to attempt a full traverse of Antarctica, unsupported and with the goal of being the first British team (and only the 3rd team ever) to complete the expedition.

We were treated to a fascinating presentation and discussion including footage of Lou’s last polar adventure with the late Henry Worsley.  The ‘skiing holiday’ as Lou likes to think of it will take around 90 days and involve temperatures of -50 with 10 hours of trekking every day.  They leave next Thursday the 27th October for Chile and final preparations which according to Lou will involve plenty of steak and wine!  We all wish them the very best of luck.

We’ve enjoyed a very successful first year and aside from building an exceptionally high quality network of consultants, we have been busy working with clients and developing awareness of the vast benefits of engaging with independent consultants.  We’ve delivered many projects, both in the UK and internationally and feedback from consultants and clients alike has been fantastic.

If you’d like to know more about our business then please do get in touch with me directly and if you’d like to follow Lou and his team and perhaps donate to the ABF Soldiers Charity then please follow this link www.spear17.org
