Term: c3 days per month

Location: Main Board meetings in Maidenhead; Committee meetings predominantly virtual

Remuneration: £18,501 per annum

Housing Solutions has been serving the needs of customers in Buckinghamshire and Berkshire since 1995, delivering services that radically shift how social and affordable housing services are delivered. We currently own or manage 8,000 properties across seven local authorities and have the highest ratings from the Regulator of Social Housing. We are financially strong, with a turnover of over £56 million and a credit rating of A+ Stable from S&P.

We are seeking a new Chair to build on the strong foundations laid by our outgoing Chair, and this individual will oversee and navigate us through the final chapter of our 2021-2025/26 Corporate Strategy and be instrumental in the formation of our strategic focus and priorities for the next phase, in this ever-changing, challenging operating environment.

We are seeking individuals with the following experience and skills:

• Credentials within an organisation of comparable scale and complexity, within a regulated business-to-consumer environment.
• Evidence of exceptional leadership of a Board or Committee, with the ability to ensure effective organisational oversight and robust governance, navigating organisations successfully through change.
• Values-led, with an unerring focus on the customer and a commitment to driving positive community outcomes.

Credible ambassadorial skills with the ability to navigate a range of commercial and public sector stakeholders.
